Is landlord responsible for putting screen doors on patio sliding doors?

I rent a home in California. When I moved in there was no screens on any windows, which owner ordered and had them put on all but one. Which I will inform him of. I am a Sr. General Manager and I am out of town a lot and never really paid attention to both my patio doors upstairs and downstairs. Being that I’m never home, I never got an opportunity to really enjoy the propery. Now that I am no longer traveling, here is my problem:

I have patio doors with French Doors but have no screens. I can not open the doors because where I live have lots of flies, I mean lots!!! I live in an area where there are dairy farms. Thing is my moved maybe three miles from another home and had no issues with flies at all. When I moved in, it was cold so no flies… great; as it got warmer I noticed OMG, the flies are horrible! So I can’t enjoy a breeze from by bedroom patio door nor my family room patio door because my entire house would be filled with flies and other nasty creatures if I open the door.

Is landlord responsible of putting screen doors on patio doors? Especially if it henders my living. I don’t want to go through my lease with all my doors closed.

Immigration to Canada from India. Need Advice…?

I stay in India and work full time for an Employer based in Canada.My wife also works for the same person. I have a 5 year old kid and we can speak French as well. I want to relocate to Canada from India.

How much money in USD should we get on a monthly basis to start a life in Canada (Saskatoon, preferred). We plan to rent a home and get our kid admitted in a good school.

Please let me know the basics. We have Indian Passports and my age is 25 and my wife 23.

Currently our monthly inclome is around 2000 USD. DO you think with this we can think of relocation.

also, I was curious to know more about staying in Canada. Is there any discrimination or injustice.

I have a very poor credit rating. How do I change this?

I am 37 years old, African-American, gainfully employed in D.C., have lived, worked and studied abroad. I have a Bachelor’s in French. I also have 60,000 dollars worth of student loans to pay back, a bad credit card history (years of just being irresponsible, but that’s now over) I would say that I have about 4000 dollars to pay back credit card wise. I have now returned to the United States after having lived in Paris for 4 years and know now that CREDIT DOES MATTER. My goals are to own a loft apartment within the next 4 to 5 years.
I have already sent away for my free credit report. I have 500.00 in savings and pay 1000.00 dollars in rent. My paycheck after taxes gives me 1,034.00 every two weeks. How do I change my situation to achieve my goal? Are there any programs for first home buyers that I could take advantage of? I’m fabulous and broke. I am going to change this. I’m too smart to be financially inept. I need help, please. Thank you.

French or United Kingdom Accomodation?

Hey everyone, well I’m thinking of looking at taking a working holiday to either France ( Paris ) or the Uk ( london ) and I was looking at the rates and well they are a bit out of my zone lol. I was wondering if anyone possibly might have a room available with a reasonable rate of rent, and in return I could do chores as well, wash dishes, do laundry etc etc. I’m a 19 yr old Male, no criminal convictions, and just looking for a place to stay that isn’t overly priced with people that I can enjoy spending time with, of course I wouldn’t be home alot as I would be scoping out the fantastic sights and working.

I know this is a bit creepy but hey it’s worth a shot right?

My train is stopping. I’m in Lyons, home of the professional football team, Olympique Lyonnais! It’s a nice day, if a little bit cloudy. I rent a bike again and sightsee in the Fourvière area, passing the Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica, the palace of the Archbishop, and the Tour métallique. It’s around 3 in the afternoon now, so I return to the Place Bellecour, the third largest public square in France. I take a picture with the statue of Louis XIV in the middle of the plaza, and then I continue on my way.

Aujourd’hui, Jason a toujours le pire jour de sa vie. A 6h30, il se réveille quand son gros chien noir fait pipi sur son visage. Il va à la cuisine pour chercher de la nourriture, et trouve un peu de foie de porc sur la plaque pour le petit déjeuner. Après la pause mauvais vite, il va aux toilettes pour prendre une douche, mais l’eau est froide.

Comme il va dehors pour prendre le bus, le bus est déjà parti. Il se promène tout le chemin à l’école à l’orage. Après son arrivée à l’école, il se rend compte qu’il a laissé tous ses devoirs à la maison. Il va tous le chemin du retour à son domicile pour obtenir son affaire, sous la pluie. Après son retour à l’école, son professeur se met en colère, et lui donne la détention et des devoirs supplémentaires.

Faim après la détention, il se dirige vers la cafétéria. Il est alors interrompu par un groupe d’élèves de 12 ans et obtient sa première initiation. Faim après l’ouverture, il ouvre son sac à lunch et trouve un sandwich à la langue. Jason ne se sentent pas trop bien, et décide de quitter l’école.

He goes all the way back to his house to get his stuff, in the rain. After he returns to school, his teacher gets angry, and gives him detention and extra homework.

Hungry after the detention, he walks to the cafeteria. He is then interrupted by a group of grade 12′s and gets his first initiation. Hungry after the initiation, he opens his lunch bag and finds a tongue sandwich. Jason does not feel too well, and decides to leave school.

When he arrives at his house, he finds out that his keys were left in the house. He decides to wait at the front door, in the rain, until his parents return from work. His parents do not return from work until 2 hours before midnight.
